Learn fundamental skills (passing, setting, hitting, serving). Learn to play the competitive game. Have fun preparing to play in high school, club, and beyond!
The EDGE offers a summer program as well as programs that run parallel to club season (November to April/May). We use these programs to prepare inexperienced, or rec-league players for the game of competitive volleyball.
New this year: our Li'l EDGE program which we will pilot this winter. Li'l EDGE will focus on 3rd-5th graders who may want to figure out if they love the sport before investing heavily into club, youth leagues, or even our 6/7 month winter/spring developmental program.
Due to the growth in our club, court space during the winter/spring program for practice is limited because the program runs at the same time as our club season. So, we are going to have a smaller limit on the number of developmental players we can accommodate.
We always give our email newsletter subscribers early access to registration and our program filled up on the first day. We never got as far as updating this page, and advertising on social media.

Coach Walter Anaruk
Developmental Program Coordinator
Walter has been a coach at the EDGE since 2010. Walter has coached every age of juniors club volleyball from 12s-18s. He has also coached High School, Gold Crown, CYL and recreational level volleyball.
Walter loves coaching at the developmental level because he has a passion for teaching solid fundamental skills, and instilling a strong mental mindset in young players. He enjoys watching the light bulbs come on for young players as they learn transitional game flow, rotations, and formations.
